The Thomas A. Edison Papers Digital Edition

This folder contains a few dated items from 1900. Some of the material may date from 1899. The documents consist of notes, drawings, lists, and calculations, mainly by unidentified authors. Included are drawings and calculations for the construction of buildings and placement of equipment, lists of construction supplies, and notes on the operation of the elevator. There are two documents by Edison, both undated, but each with a tag reading "Ogden Mills, 1900." One document is 36 pages (numbered 1-33); the other is 7 pages. Both consist mainly of instructions for repairs and improvements at the Ogden works. The longer document includes a diagram, possibly of a Corliss jack pulley, with marginalia. Only the Edison documents have been selected.
