Description: This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the liquidation of EOMS. Most of the letters are by Frank L. Dyer, general counsel of the Legal Department, and George Croydon Marks, Edison's patent agent in London. The letters deal with Edison's legal obligations regarding additional calls for capital from EOMS shareholders, as well as the disposition of his ore milling patents in Great Britain, Continental Europe, Africa, and Australia. Also included are a "Statement of Facts" concerning the history of the Syndicate and Edison's dispute with its liquidator; and minutes from an EOMS shareholders' meeting.
Approximately 60 percent of the documents have been selected.
