This ledger covers the period November 1893-February 1897. As the account book of final entry, it summarizes transactions relating to the company's works at the Silver Lake, N. J., its New York City office, and its operations in Europe. Included are accounts pertaining to motion pictures, phonographs, primary batteries, fan motors, x-rays, and talking dolls; advertising, stock, and depreciation accounts; experimental and manufacturing accounts; payroll, advertisement, and sales accounts; accounts receivable; and records of general expenses. The account with Edison appears on pages 35-37. There is also a "World's Fair Account" relating to the Chicago Columbian Exposition of 1893. The spine is stamped "Ledger" and "E. Mfg. Co. and is labeled "General" and "Nov. 1893 to Feb. 28-1897." The book contains 401 numbered pages.
