Dyer of the Edison Manufacturing Co. and William N. Selig, president of the Selig Polyscope Co. in Chicago. Included are letters pertaining to the unlicensed duplication of films, unlicensed cameras, and independent film exchanges. There are also documents concerning rebates; supplies of film stock; and congressional lobbying. Some items relate to the business activities of competitors, such as Carl Laemmle and the Miles Brothers.
