Included are letters concerning the use of phonoplex circuits by the Western Union Telegraph Co., the sale of used machine tools to Ralph H. Beach of the Pianophone Co., and the purchase of a phonograph reproducer and phonograph recordings by William S. Logue, a sales agent for the Edison Manufacturing Co. There are also letters pertaining to the company's claim against the Hicks Gas Engine Co. of Buffalo, New York. Among the correspondents is William E. Gilmore, vice president and general manager of the Edison Manufacturing Co.
Less than 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Most of the unselected items pertain to the company's claim against the Hicks Gas Engine Co.
