Most of the items are letters from consulting engineer Horace F. Parshall regarding the commercial exploitation of the battery in Great Britain.

Approximately 60 percent of the documents have been selected. The items not selected include letters of inquiry about batteries and their applications, along with documents that duplicate information in selected material.
