This folder contains tissue copies of two letters to Edison associate Josiah C. Reiff. One is by attorney and former Union general Benjamin F. Butler; the other is by attorney John H. B. Latrobe. Both men represented the Edison-Reiff-Harrington interests in telegraph litigation during the 1870s.
Not selected are several printed litigation records that also appear in the "Quadruplex Case" volumes in the Litigation Series.
