This folder contains correspondence from or about employees and prospective employees. Included is a letter from machinist George Jackson, who worked briefly for the firm of Edison & Murray in 1875, declining a job offer from Edison. Jackson would begin working at the Menlo Park laboratory sometime during the first half of 1878. Also included is a letter from C. R. Richards of the Atlantic & Pacific Telegraph Co.
