This folder contains correspondence from insurance agents requesting Edison to purchase personal and business insurance policies. Among the documents are several letters from agent John H. Wood pertaining to policies for the West Orange laboratory and for the land and buildings at Menlo Park. Also included is a letter regarding Edison's settlement on a horse carriage accident in which he was involved.
