This folder contains routine correspondence suggesting improvements in Edison's inventions, asking him for advice on technical matters, or requesting his assistance in improving or promoting an invention.
Approximately 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Most of the selected letters received a significant response from Edison. Among the items not selected is a series of letters of transmittal regarding Edison's review of page proofs for a textbook by the National School of Electricity.
