This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to operations at the West Orange laboratory. Included are letters about experiments on Henry L. Brevoort's process for waterproofing fabrics by electricity. There are also documents relating to fire and safety inspections of the laboratory for insurance purposes. At the end of the folder are two lists of chemical orders, compiled by Edison.

All of the documents have been selected except for items that duplicate the information in selected material.
