This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to the production and commercial development of motion picture films. Most of the items concern the Klondike Exposition Co., which was organized by Edison and Thomas Crahan to make a filming expedition to the Yukon in order to produce films suitable for display at the Paris Exposition of 1900. Included is correspondence between Crahan and William E. Gilmore, general manager of the Edison Manufacturing Co.
All of the documents have been selected except for duplicates.
