Included are letters from insurance carriers, items pertaining to real estate, and several Edison memoranda regarding materials ordered for the laboratory.

Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected items include an abstract of the distribution of general expenses for the year, letters pertaining to insurance or acknowledging orders, and several personal notes to Fred C. Devonald, a laboratory employee.
