The Thomas A. Edison Papers Digital Edition

This folder contains reports of work done in the Legal Dept. of Thomas A. Edison, Inc. Most of the reports are signed by general counsel Delos Holden; some are initialed by Holden's assistant, Henry Lanahan. Among the subjects discussed in the reports are patent applications and infringements, contracts and agreements, and trademark registration. There are references to Edison's interests in the phonograph, storage battery, kinetophone, and other matters. The report for November 14 contains several marginal notations by Edison, along with an attached memo by Carl H. Wilson, general manager of TAE Inc.
