This folder contains correspondence and other documents concerning legal cases involving Edison or companies in which he had an interest. The selected documents pertain to Edison's deposition in DeBower-Chapline Co. v H .L. Hayward, a case relating to the unauthorized use of the inventor's name.
Approximately 30 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected material includes documents pertaining to an additional name-use case and to Victor Talking Machine Co. v. Lawrence H. Lucker, as Minnesota Phonograph Co.
