This folder contains correspondence relating to the Edison Gesellschaft, Edison's German representative for phonographs, motion pictures, numbering machines, and primary batteries. Also included are items pertaining the Internationale Kinoindustrie Ausstellung in Budapest, Hungary, which requested Edison to serve as honorary president of their exhibition shortly before the outbreak of World War I. Most of the correspondence is by Carl H. Wilson, vice president and general manager of Thomas A. Edison, Inc. The other correspondents are Thomas Graf, managing director of the Edison Gesellschaft, and Walter Stevens, head of the Foreign Department of TAE Inc., who was visiting the Edison companies in Europe during the winter of 1914.
