This folder contains documents pertaining to primary (non-rechargeable) batteries. Among the correspondents for 1917 are William C. Bauer, professor of electrical engineering at Northwestern University, and G. M. Libby of Berkeley, California. Their letters relate to experimental batteries brought to Edison's attention.
Approximately 40 percent of the documents, including all of the correspondence with Edison marginalia, have been selected.
