This folder consists of undated letters from William Leslie Edison (1878-1937), primarily to his stepmother, Mina Miller Edison. There are also a few letters to Thomas Edison and to his half-sister, Madeleine Edison. Most of the letters were written during the period 1891-1893, while William was attending St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire. Included are numerous letters, written after his brother Thomas left St. Paul's at the beginning of 1893, expressing William's dislike of the school and his wish to return home.
