[One letter from 1886 was added to this folder in December 2011.]
This folder contains letters by Ira Mandeville Miller (1856-1934), older brother of Mina Miller Edison. The selected items, which cover the years 1886 and 1905-1908, consist of nine letters to Mina Edison and her brother, John V. Miller, along with one letter to Ira from his sister. Ira Miller was the midwestern agent for several automobile companies, including the Edison-owned Lansden Co., and some of the letters refer to his business dealings. There are also references to a loan made by Mina to her brother.
Additional letters by Ira M. Miller can be found in the Charles Edison Fund Collection and in the David E. E. Sloane Collection.
