[LM210-F] LM-210 (Nov 1893-July 1894)

This letterbook covers the period November 1893-July 1894. Most of the correspondence is by William S. Perry, treasurer of the company; John P. Walsh, sales agent for sand; and Edwin I. Olmsted, purchasing agent. The letters deal mainly with mining property leases, company financial obligations, stock transactions, equipment, supplies, and sand orders. Included are items pertaining to the purchase of insurance on Edison's life, the market price of General Electric securities, and general economic conditions. One item relates to a fall suffered by Edison at the Odgen works. The spine is stamped "9," is marked "Indexed O K," and is labeled "From Nov. 20, 1893 To July 5, 1894 N Y Office." The book contains 998 numbered pages and an index. Approximately 5 percent of the book has been selected.
