This notebook was used during March 1902. All entries are by Edison. The book contains notes and drawings regarding several experiments that deal mainly with electricity and electromagnetic radiation. Among the entries are items pertaining to the use of phosphorescent materials with a "disc kinetoscope," etheric force and "xyz rays," fluorescent lighting, thermocouples, liquid organic storage batteries, and phonograph recording and reproduction using electromotograph apparatus. The book contains 280 numbered pages. Some pages are blank; pages 3-4 have been removed from the book.
