The Thomas A. Edison Papers Digital Edition

This notebook, which covers the period May-October 1892, is a continuation of N-91-11-02.2. At the beginning of the book are notes and calculations by Arthur E. Kennelly and Alfred J. Thompson regarding conductor determinations for the Chicago electrical system, along with a note by Edison relating to the design and cost of the proposed system. The remainder of the book was used by Kennelly and Thompson as a rough record book in the Galvanometer Room. Included are notes, drawings, tables, and calculations concerning tests of batteries, low-horsepower motors, and an induction coil for phonoplex telegraphy. Transcriptions of the test records can be found in Arthur E. Kennelly Notebook #6. The front cover is labeled "Chicago III AJT." The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 180 pages have been used.
