This notebook covers the periods September-October 1895 and December 1897. It was used primarily by Jonas Walter Aylsworth, probably at New Jersey and Pennsylvania Concentrating Works in Ogden, N.J. Most of the book contains notes regarding the bricking of iron ore concentrate. Included is a 10-page entry by Edison relating to the bricking process. At the end of the book there are logs of additional bricking tests and rough records regarding running and stoppage times at the Ogden works. The front cover is labeled "Bricker Experiments." The inside front cover is inscribed "J W Aylsworth." The pages are unnumbered, and the book has been used in both directions. Approximately 90 pages have been used.
