This notebook was used during December 1917-November 1920 by two unidentified experimenters for notes on various chemical reagents, materials, and products. These include Castner soda, lacquer, shellacs, and Vaseline. Numerous loose items have been inserted into the book, including a 1920 communication from Edison to F. C. Pullin of the Record Manufacturing Division regarding the disposal of scrap celluloid discs to the Celluloid Co. in Newark. The front cover is labeled "Castner Soda Book December 8, 1917." The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 110 pages have been used.
Only the communication by Edison and two related items have been selected.
