This notebook was used by Walter E. Holland during April 1910-September 1911 for daily reports on all large, or commercial type, battery cells undergoing regular tests. A description of the contents of the book appears on the first page. The subsequent entries provide data regarding the tests, including information on the type and output of the cells tested, rates of charging, and initials of the reviewer. Most of the entries on the first 33 pages are initialed by Edison. The later entries are initialed by Holland or Harold H. Smith. The front cover is labeled "Daily Report of Large Cell Tests. Vol. I. 4/25/10." The book contains 200 numbered pages, some of which are blank.
Only the initial description and the pages initialed by Edison have been selected.
