Description: This undated notebook was used by Edison and John Ott as a scrapbook, probably during the summer or fall of 1887. The book contains clippings from various suppliers' catalogs, with marginalia by Edison and Ott indicating material they intended to order for the West Orange laboratory. The book contains 149 numbered pages. Each alternate leaf (pp. 3-4, 7-8, 11-12, etc.) has been removed from the book.
