This pocket notebook was used by Edison during the period November 1904- February 1905 for notes on experimental work and for lists of tasks to be performed. Many of the proposed experiments pertain to the chemical composition, construction, and charge and discharge conditions of storage batteries. Included are entries describing groups of test cells, some with nickel flake elements in their electrodes. There is also a note by Edison reminding himself to see Frank L. Dyer about filing a patent application on the nickel flake. Among the employees mentioned in relation to individual experiments are Ralph Arbogast, Jonas Walter Aylsworth, and Walter E. Holland. The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 50 pages have been used.
