This folder contains dated notes and drawings from 1900, as well as undated material possibly from the same year. Included are many chemical notes by Edison, some pertaining to the composition of phonograph record blanks and many involving nickel and other metals. Also included are drawings by Edison of phonograph parts, bricker ovens, and other devices, along with lists of experiments and tasks to be performed at the laboratory.
Approximately 50 percent of the documents have been selected. Among the items not selected are notes by George R. Ficht regarding a coal crushing plant and numerous meter test logs.
