Description

This folder contains dated notes and drawings from 1907, as well as undated material possibly from the same year. Included are numerous notes from Edison to John F. Ott pertaining to storage batteries, phonographs, telephone devices, electric vehicles, and other matters. These items were probably written at Edison's winter home in Fort Myers, Florida, and then forwarded to the laboratory in West Orange. Also included are notes and drawings by Edison and Albert F. Wurth regarding Edison's kinetophone and various notes, memoranda, and calculations by Ott.

Approximately 80 percent of the documents have been selected. The unselected items consist of a manufacturing drawing for the Edison Phonograph Works and most of the material by Ott.
