[QCB01-F] Amended Bill of Complaint

This amended bill of complaint appears in Volume 70 —the first of three volumes of litigation records in Atlantic and Pacific Telegraph Company v. George B. Prescott, Western Union Telegraph Company, Lemuel W. Serrell and Thomas A. Edison. The so-called Quadruplex Case involved rights and title to seven Edison patent applications pertaining to duplex and quadruplex telegraphy.

The amendments are inscribed by hand on the original printed bill of complaint. The printed date of April 1876 on the original bill has been changed to May 1877.
