This folder contains material pertaining to the suit brought by the Edison interests against the Columbia Phonograph Co., General, in the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of New Jersey. The case was initiated in April 1905 and involved Jonas Walter Aylsworth's U.S. Patent 782,375 on record blank composition. The case, also known as the "carnauba wax case," was settled in June 1908, along with the American Graphophone Company v. National Phonograph Company cases ("Macdonald composition cases") heard in the same court.
