These letters from Ralph H. Beach to Francis Jehl are from 1937-1939. Beach was an Edison friend who collaborated with him on a number of projects from the 1890s onwards, most notably the use of electric storage batteries for urban streetcars. An early meeting between Edison and Marconi is also mentioned.
Several additional letters between Beach and Jehl, not related to Edison, have not been selected.
