Welles to obtain patents in New Zealand and Australia for Edison's telephone; and items concerning Edison's sale of his Australian telephone rights to the Oriental Telephone Co., Ltd. In addition, there are letters by Western Electric official Enos M. Barton pertaining to Charles F. Brush's dynamo and arc light and to Edison's chalk-wheel telephone receiver.
