Description: The three Edison documents in this repository relate to a variety of subjects. The earliest is an undated note from Edison to John C. English, manager of the Edison Phonograph Works, that was probably written in 1888 or early 1889. It pertains to the solution for phonograph batteries. A May 1907 letter from mineralogist George F. Kunz contains a marginal notation by Edison in which the inventor expresses his interest in obtaining lithium hydroxide for his storage battery cells. An August 1920 note from Edison to experimenter John W. Lystrup regarding baths for disc record molds is closely related to the material in the John W. Lystsrup Papers.
