These documents date from the 1920s. Included is a letter from William H. Meadowcroft, Edison's personal assistant, to chemist and author Ellwood Hendrick concerning research for a biography of Lewis Miller, father of Mina Miller Edison and co-founder of the Chautauqua movement. Also included is tribute to Miller, written by Thomas A. Edison in 1925, and an undated letter from First Lady Lou Henry Hoover relating to a plant the Edisons had sent to the Hoovers as a Christmas gift.
