These documents, which cover the years 1879 and 1887-1904, consist primarily of correspondence to and from Lewis Miller (1829-1899), father of Mina Miller Edison. Included are letters from Lewis to his two youngest sons, John and Theodore Miller. The 1887 letter, written from Jacksonville, Florida, mentions that Edison is still feeling the effects of a lingering illness and describes an accident at a nearby Sulpher Springs, in which almost everyone in their party except Edison fell into the water. In addition to the correspondence, there is a Quit Claim Deed from 1894 transferring property to Miller, a list of property belonging to the estate of Lewis Miller, and an illustrated obituary from The Buckeye.
