\nMy dear Sir:
\nI have just learned that a bill was sent to you by the New Jersey Electric Vehicle Transportation Company for charging batteries and general repairs on your carriage while on the Jersey Coast last Summer. I have directed that this charge against you should be cancelled and I beg that you will accept my apologies for its having been sent you. In explanation, the accounts of the New Jersey Company are kept entirely separate from those of the parent company and in that way it escaped our attention.
\nI hope that your trip South has been an exceedingly pleasant and beneficial one to you.
\nVery truly yours,
\n
