\nMr. Thos. A. Edison,
\nORANGE, NEW JERSEY
\nMy dear Sir:
\nSince my return home I have been actively at work in getting the parties who own the "Sultana" mine to give me an option for a lease, on the basis as suggested by you when we last met. They have it under consideration, and I am urging them in every possible way to consent.
\nIn case they agree with me, will you be prepared to send your party to make the necessary examination as son as I have the matter in shape? I desire, if agreeable, to join your man or send my brother when the examination is made.
\nKindly let me hear from you, and oblige
\nYours very truly,
\nN.T.
