\nDear Sir:-
\nOpt. G.F. reports:
\nNew York, Friday, Sept. 18th, 1903
\nIn compliance with instructions, I proceeded to West Orange, N.J., accompanied by Operatives J.W., J.J. O'S., and G.W.C., arriving there at 12:30 P.M. I was stationed with Opt. J.W. to patrol the main entrance and vicinity, Operatives J.J.O'S and G.W.C. being stationed at the lower gate.
\nDuring the day several striking pickets were in the vicinity, but no attempt was made by them to molest or interfere with the employees upon entering or leaving the works. The operatives familiarized themselves with the faces of the pickets so they could be identified in case of trouble. Nothing of importance transpired during the day and at 6:20 P.M. we withdraw.
\nReports of Opts. J.W., J.J.O'S. and G.W.C. are incorporated in the above.
\nYours truly,
\nPinkerton's National Detective Agency
