\nI enclose herewith bills against your Company for experiments conducted by me in connection with processes for extracting precious materials from ores, up to January 1st, 1890, amounting to $42,131.27, as contemplated in my agreement with yourselves under date 14th day of October, 1887.
\nI shall be glad to have an immediate settlement made with me, as my disbursements exceed considerably the amount which I originally agreed to spend in your behalf.
