\nDear Sir:-
\nI beg to apologize for having overlooked the query in your letter of 22nd instant, in regard to the player contract for South America. Mr. Moriarty is connected with the Edison United Phonograph Co. He, Col. Gouraud and one of the younger members of the Seligman firm, are the foreign agents for the phonograph, and I have heard indirectly that Mr. Moriarty desires to have the player contract transferred o him. I do not know anything about the details of this matter. Perhaps they have already been submitted to you.
\nDid the Board take any action in regard to the Jacques patent business at its last meeting?
\nYours very truly,
\nA.O.Tate
