\nEdison Phonograph Works,
\nOrange, N.J.
\nDear Sirs:-
\nI enclose herewith some correspondence from the Edison United Phonograph Co., in regard to seven barrels of cylinders which were shipped to the Paris Exposition for Mr. Edison, and reshipped from there to the London office of the E.U.P. Co. It appears that these blanks were defective. I have therefore made the E.U.P. Co. an allowance of 25% on the price of the same, which amounts to $19.69. These blanks were billed by you against a credit memorandum for the same amount. Of course so far as our allowance for freight is concerned the Laboratory will have to stand that. Please let me hear from you at once, as I wish to write the E.U.P. Co. to-night.
\nYours very truly,
\nA. O. Tate
\nPrivate Secretary."},{"label":"Author","value":"Tate, Alfred Ord"},{"label":"Recipient","value":"Edison Phonograph Works"},{"label":"Mentioned","value":["Exhibition.
