\nDear Sirs:-
\nWith reference to your letter of the instant, which I submitted to Mr. Edison, the latter says that he will advise you later as to whether he desires to have a Canadian Patent taken out on the Toy Phonograph which was patented here March 11th, 1899. In the meantime he has asked me to say to you that his advice is to have nothing to say or to do with the Toy Phonograph Company.
\nYours very truly,
\nA.O. Tate
