\nMr. J.P. Ord, Comptroller,
\nEdison General Electric Co.,
\nEdison Building, N.Y. City.
\nDear Sir:-
\nI hand you herewith bills against your company for $3282.26, for experiments conducted in Mr. Edison’s Laboratory, during the month of July 1891.,
\nI beg to remind you that we have not yet adjusted the bills so that accountings may be made as provided for in the contract between the Edison General Company, and Mr. Edison, and would be very glad if you could name a definite date when this matter could be settled. It has been open now for almost a year, and I think it certainly ought to be closed before the close of the fiscal year of the Edison General Company.
\nYours Truly,
\nA.O. Tate
\nPrivate Secretary.
