\nMr. Edison wished me to write you and say that he has received a letter from Mr. William Wastele of Port Huron in which he states that he holds two notes of $135.00 each for money loaned Mr. W.P. Edison on December 8th 1875
\nMr. Edison wished me to ask you if you know anything about this loan and if not will you please see how Mr. Wastelle and have him show you the notes after you have seen them will you please send me an answer if you think that they are correct and have not been paid by Mr. W.P. Edison
