\nDear Sir:--
\nI enclose herewith an article from "The Railway World", London, in regard to the equipment of the vehicles of the London General Omnibus Company with electric lights.
\nI am desirous of obtaining particulars in regard to this method of lighting street cars. Can you furnish me with any information on the subject? I would like to know if the system used by the London General Omnibus Company is satisfactory, how long it has been in operation, and whether or not it has been adopted permanently, also what storage battery is employed in connection therewith.
\nI shall be greatly obliged for any information which you may be able to furnish, and beg to thank you in advance for your attention in the matter.
\nYours truly,
\nAO Tate
\nPrivate Secretary.
