"The copy of Prof. Paccinotti's machine was brought to Florence by him about a month ago & after I had seen it & its operation..it was shipped from Leghorn directly to you.." This is "in every respect an exact copy of the first one Mr. P. invented.." Also sends copy of a pamphlet by Paccinotti and a translation of note by Dall'Eco. TAE's docket: "I want copies of these made & sent to P & B drawing attention to Prof. A. Dall Eco's remarks"
