- Title
- [D8717ABB], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Metropolitan Electric Service Co, December 16th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- TAE acknowledges receipt of letter regarding his order to fit up his house in Llewellyn Park with MES Co. temperature regulator. TAE notes that he only made the order to assist MES representative Mr. Greenfield through whatever effect this action would have on encouraging others to use the apparatus. But TAE asserts that it was distinctly understood between himself and Greenfield that the instruments would not actually be installed in his home because of the considerable trouble running the wires would incur.
