"Herewith forwarded specimens of "Maca[--]tat" Elaeis guineensis (Oil Palm) as promised ## I am also glad to inform you that the variety of Bamboo that you require is to be found growing in Panama The Bambusa Vulgaris however I will still try to find out if it grows in this island" Marginalia by Charles F. Hanington: "The fibers are in [----] -- Have not seen them before this because of the difficulty in finishing the forms"
