This will introduce my nephew Ezra Cornell the grandson and namesake of the founder of Cornell University of which the bearer is a graduate of a five year course in the departments of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. # If you have occasion for services such as his qualifications fit him to render you will be certain to find him both willing and reliable, and I shall feel personally much gratified if you can [-----] him how to utilize his education. # Present compensation is not so important as that he may be permitted to get a position fasthold for future professional work.
